This is my final pen and ink drawing of a close up flower. I used stippling, contour lines, and cross hatching to make this drawing more interesting. The media used in this drawing is a calligraphy pen, black ink, and thick white paper. The art elements used in this drawing are line, value, shape, space (between petals), and texture. The design elements used in this drawing are balance, pattern, proportion, and scale. The intent of this drawing was to imitate the image of some close up object with texture, such as a flower. It was a very fun project.

The media used in this painting was water, and temper watercolor paints. The art elements were line, value, shape, space, and color. The design elements were contrast, movement, emphasis, and proportion/scale. The intent of this painting was to pick out a picture you took of somewhere you have been and then try to imitate it in a painting. I think my painting came out pretty well and i am overall happy with it. |
