This is my theme project. It is 5 inches tall by 2 inches wide and is glazed with forest green and cobalt blue. I made it by creating a tall cylinder and then pinching the top to make a lip for the vase. Something I learned from this project is how to make a triangle with my hands so that the lip of the vase doesn't get too thin and break off. This project shows color because of the blue reflecting off the green which leads to contrast because the lines bounce off the base color and stand out. My theme here is "waterfall" which both of my projects represent because of the blue glaze falling down the project. This project makes me happy because I have always had a hard time with vases but I successfully pulled this off.
